I use taco seasoning quite a bit in my recipes, and finally it dawned on me one day that it would make so much more sense for me to make my own rather than purchase the packet (that often has other random ingredients in it as well) from the grocery store every time I wanted to cook something with taco seasoning. So that’s exactly what I did! This recipe is so easy and takes no time at all to throw together.
2 Tablespoons = 1 Packet 🙂
And FYI, I did the same thing with ranch seasoning as well. You can find that recipe here.
Hope you enjoy!

2 tablespoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon minced dried onion
1 teaspoon paprika
2 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon Kosher salt (more or less to taste)
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together. Pulse in a food processor (optional). Store in a sealed container at room temperature.
