Our family just returned from our last family-of-5 vacation! We are officially in countdown mode to meeting our sweet babe next month!
We spent that past week in LA and San Diego / La Jolla and had the best time.
Tomorrow, I’ll share all about the first half of our trip, including our time at Disneyland and essentials for your own family trip to the parks.
Today’s post is all about our stay at the Pantai Inn and exploring around La Jolla!
The Pantai Inn is situated right off the coast of La Jolla Cove. Our room looked out onto the water, and we literally walked across the street to the sidewalk path that led to the beach and shore area where the sea lions and seals liked to gather.
Our kids loved climbing the trees and looking for rocks to throw into the water. And Emily loved seeing all of the birds flying overhead!
Each morning, the chef prepared an unbelievable complimentary breakfast that we got to enjoy outside, overlooking the water.
Each afternoon when our room was cleaned, a hand-drawn menu for the next morning’s breakfast was left in your room. Our kids called it the “breakfast map.” 🙂
After eating, the kids would watch the seagulls fly overhead and play around the grassy area while Matt and I finished our meal.
Along with an incredible location and delicious breakfast, Pantai Inn offers their guests a very personalized stay. A $25 daily resort charge includes parking, wifi, car service, fluff and fold laundry (let’s all let out a resounding Hallelulah and Amen!), grocery and food pick up, and beach equipment.
With only 30 total rooms- 20 suites and 10 cottages, each guest feels personally welcomed and attended to during their entire stay.
Room options include studios, and one-three bedroom suites ranging in price from $295-$845 nightly, depending on the room type and season. Most rooms have a full kitchen, others including a kitchenette with a mini fridge, microwave, Keurig and sink.
